On April 27th, a group of 6-8th graders from a local middle school came out to Elmwood Golf Course to learn more about the maintenance of a golf course and even different part of the golf course.
The Superintendents from Sioux Falls Golf, Elmwood Golf Course employees, students from Southeast Technical Institute (STI), and First Tee-South Dakota partnered together to educate these middle schoolers.
There was five different stations that the middle schoolers learned from:
Tools
Wildlife
Soil
Water Conservation
Intro to Golf
